Abuse and Illegal Content Notices
How to report harmful or unlawful hosted activity and challenge action.
Report suspected illegal or abusive BlinkHost-hosted activity to abuse@blinkhost.me. For immediate danger, contact local emergency or law-enforcement services first.
A useful notice includes
Your contact details; the exact URL, domain or resource identifier; the category of concern; relevant dates/time zone; a concise factual explanation; evidence you are authorised to share; affected jurisdiction; and requested action. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card data or unrelated personal data.
Our review
We acknowledge and triage reports based on severity. We assess exact content, context, applicable law, reliability, urgency, user rights and less-restrictive options. We may ask for clarification, preserve evidence, notify the customer, restrict exact material, isolate a service, suspend access or refer a credible imminent threat to a competent authority. We do not promise removal merely because content is unpopular or disputed.
Notice, reasons and challenge
Where safe and lawful, an affected customer receives notice of the principal reason, scope and available challenge. They may reply with context, authority, correction or evidence of mistake. We record the outcome and reverse action where justified. We may withhold information where disclosure would create risk, prejudice an investigation or violate law.
Government and law-enforcement requests
Authorities should identify their office, legal power, jurisdiction, requested account/data, time period, preservation need and secure response channel. We scrutinise scope and authenticity, seek narrowing where appropriate and notify the customer unless prohibited or unsafe.
